Awaiting His Arrival

You’ve probably experienced over the years an excitement of anticipation. Maybe it was waiting for a best friend to come over during our school years. Maybe knowing you are going to see a grandparent or cousin you hadn't seen in a long time. Perhaps it was waiting at an airport for a loved one to arrive. Well…that excitement and preparation is exactly what was happening as Israel waited on Jesus to arrive and make His triumphant entry that first Palm Sunday and is the same as we should have as we await His second arrival.
