Jesus visits the pool of Bethesda in Jerusalem and speaks with a paralyzed man. He simply ask, "Do you want to get well?" On the surface that seems like an insulting question; of course the man wanted to be better. But instead of stating that, the question exposed his excuses. Many times tough questions are asked that we can choose to take personally. However, when we pull back the top layer we find that they can alter our way of thinking to be more inline with Christ.
