First Church Defiance Children's Ministry is responsible for teaching and sharing the love of Jesus with the children of our church ages 3 through 6th grade. Programing is offered during Sunday service times, and Wednesday evenings September through April.
If you like to have fun, spreading the Gospel to the next generation, and go away feeling uplifted and energized, Children’s Ministry is the place for you.
There are many opportunities to become involved and no experience is necessary. Whether you are comfortable in front of a crowd or being behind the scenes, we have a spot for you.

- Nursery (Watching over our youngest on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights)
- Little Wonders (age 3-5 Sunday mornings)
- Wonder Kids Teacher or Assistant (K - 6th grade Sunday Mornings)
- Action Zone Teacher or Assistant (K - 4th grade Wednesday nights)
- Club 56 Teacher or Assistant (5th & 6th grade Wednesday nights)
- Prize Zone
- Check-in Station Host
- Sound/Computer-Media
