First Impression Team is a great opportunity to help first time guest as well as returning church family to always feel welcomed and loved. Studies show that within the first few minutes of someone visiting a church, they will determine if they return or not.
Another big part of First Impressions is the maintenance and upkeep of the First Church Defiance Campus facilities and grounds. The Board of Deacons lead this area of ministry and oversee our church custodians and maintenance employee. Given the size of our facilities, volunteers are always needed to assist with various tasks such as lawncare, grounds beautification, weed control, painting, and repairs. If itās important to you that our guests have a great āfirst impressionā of our facilities, then your passion and skill will be appreciated.
