The First Church Defiance Worship Team exists to lead God’s Church into a place of reciprocating both Christ’s Love for his people and their love for Him through excellence within the entire worship experience.

     We do this in accordance with the vision of First Church and through personal and corporate values that guide us in being worshipers not only in music but through our lives. 

     If you are gifted vocally or at playing a musical instrument, then we may have a place for you.  Several times a year we hold open rehearsals where those interested in joining the worship team can come and experience what our worship team is all about.

     There is a process for joining the worship team including a tryout which can lead to several rehearsal commitments before finding yourself on stage with the band during a service. Because Excellence is part of our vision these are necessary steps.
